A warm, friendly group for mothers with new babies. Sit and relax with your baby and a cup of tea. This is a time to share stories, tips and frustrations of early motherhood in the company of other mothers. On occasion, we have speakers join us to talk about issues related to new motherhood. NOLA Green Roots facilitates garden training for hundreds of participants. By developing community gardens, we teach youth, low-income residents, and senior citizens how to grow fresh fruits and vegetables at a low cost. Our community gardens provide access to fresh produce and plants as well as lessons on satisfying labor needs, improving neighborhoods, building a sense of community, and connecting to the environment. FIRST CLASS FREE!  A safe, fun and effective outdoor family friendly fitness class for new and expectant mothers.  Fathers also welcome.  The class will be lead Gamal Abdel chasten, a certified trainer with over 10 years of experience with all levels of fitness.  The goal for this Meetup is 3 mornings 6:30-7:30 AM at Audobon Park and Mid City Park in the evening from 6:30-7:30.  Each class is $20 for the hour, $35.00 if Mom & Dad attend.  Strollers and newborns encouraged to attend.
